project description: during the fourth world conference on low carbon cities forum, the product was used as the “news center” of the session. this 3-storey office building has a floor area of 432 sqm to provide the workspace, exhibition, accommodation and entertainment space. based on the design concept of low carbon, environmental friendly and energy conservation, this building has an extraordinary architectural look and is integrated with a number of high-tech systems. the exterior shade grid as the second facade provides multi-directional radiated protection and effectively reduces the surface temperature for the building. the vertical big opening fully absorbs the natural light for illumination. the voids on the second and third floor reduce the building’s energy consumption. the electronic controlled windows at the bottom of the stairs increase the ventilation circulation, while the solar system on the roof top minimizes the energy consumption of the whole building.
